From July 20th – 27th, a team of Crystal Church members will travel to Dominican Republic to serve in Batays.  Batays are sugar plantations where the workers & their families live under extreme poverty.  They toil away in the plantations without education, resources or freedom to pursue their callings.  Our team will be demonstrating God's love and acceptance to these people.  We hope this short term mission trip will be a step in a lasting change - opening their hearts to God and instilling hope for a brighter future.

We will be working face-to-face with some of the poorest people in the world. One of the most important tasks we will accomplish is to distribute basic medicine to those in need. We will be hiring local doctors to provide medical care. As we provide our support, we not only hope to give but to receive, as we come united under God’s embrace.

During our time in Dominican Republic, we are sure we’ll encounter God’s amazing creation. We'll also encounter incredible hardship and spiritual challenges. We need friends to stand behind us during this trip.
